About Fohloza Foundation
The Fohloza Foundation seeks to empower various faith-based beneficiaries and spiritual leaders in South Africa. The Foundation aims to develop programmes and opportunities, such as training programmes to empower spiritual leaders, their families and their teams with relevant skills to better lead and manage their ministries, such as good corporate governance, financial management, corporate communication, stakeholder relations and many other relevant skills areas.
The Foundation aims to provide a sustainable support system at the family unit level to ensure that the families of spiritual leaders are taken care of, as they dedicate their lives to taking care of God’s people. This may include initiatives such as providing bursaries for the children of spiritual leaders, looking after widowed spiritual leaders, hosting benefit concerts, seminars, workshops and many other impact programmes as determined by the Foundation.
The Mizriam and Mercy Mseleku Legacy Foundation Trust (operating as the “Fohloza Foundation”) was founded by the children of Mizriam and Mercy Mseleku in honour of their parents and the contribution they made through ministry in service of God and His people.
They desired the foundation should focus on matters that were of great importance to their parents;
•Pastoral Care for Widows and Families of Deceased Ministers of the Gospel.
•Formation for Ministers of God’s Word.
•Legacy Programmes.
The Mizriam and Mercy Mseleku Legacy Foundation Trust operating as Fohloza Foundation is a South African based Trust constituted for the support and empowerment of widows (spouses) and children of deceased ministers of the Gospel, and other such families or persons in distress, and for the development and training of Christian ministers of religion.
To eradicate poverty through empowerment and to capacitate ministers of the Gospel so that they are holistically equipped as individuals and for ministry.
